When I was at school Valentine's Day sometimes had that bitter sweet tinge to it - will the boy I fancy in the Sixth Form send me a card. Giggling down the corridor as our group of girls passed their group of boys. Very rarely did cards exchange.!
Valentine's Day now is completely different. Cards are on display shortly after Christmas disappears so there is plenty of time to purchase that all important token before the 14th.
This year I am planning on providing a gorgeous red rose only bouquet - Naomi Roses being my absolute favourite to use - then a variation on that adding lovely ranunculus, with tulips and beautiful scented foliage.. Finally how about a scented seasonal flower bouquet. I know that any Valentine would appreciate any one of those.
I have often thought that a gorgeous vase would not go amiss - so I headed to Dartington Glass web site and also Waterford Crystal as well. Stunning. Very special though. Give me a ring to discuss one of those filled with flowers of your choice.
